Snail’s nourishment is above all herbivorous such as:

1. Plants used for feeding: rape (brassica napus), colza, cavalier cabbage, brassica, chard, chicory and sun flower.
2. Plants exclusively used for summer and winter protection: lanceolate plantago, repens clover.
3. Nourishing and protective plants: artichoke (especially in Central and Southern Italy) Taraxacum (dandelion). Seeds must be sown in a row or scattered over a given area. This procedure will result in less manual work and easier cleaning operations.
